We would like to express our appreciation for your help in persuading so many public officials to speak out about the proposed trial of the 9/11 terrorists in Lower Manhattan. As you probably know, Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and so many others have urged the Justice Department to change the location of the trial. Recent newspaper articles have indicated that the White House and the Justice Department are re-evaluating the location of the trial.
Although a final decision has not been made yet, we believe that we have made significant progress. We will be in touch if more needs to be done.
